But even if you should suffer for righteousness’ sake, you will be blessed. Have no fear of them, nor be troubled,

but in your hearts honor Christ the Lord as holy,
always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for
a reason for the hope that is in you; yet do it with gentleness and respect,

having a good conscience, so that, when you are slandered, those who revile your good behavior in Christ may be put to shame.

How Do You Study the Bible?

Have you ever found it difficult to read the bible? And when you have read the bible, have you ever had difficulty understanding what you’re reading? Many don’t read the bible because of the difficulty in reading and understanding it. It is so much easier to sit at church and listen to a good pastor give an expository sermon. But it’s foolish to think that sitting in a church alone will meaningfully change your heart and conform you to the image of Christ in a lasting manner.

This discussion series on how to study the bible will encourage and challenge you in your walk with the Lord as you sit with others dealing with the same struggles. This course will not necessarily turn you into a bible scholar but will motivate you to spend more time carefully observing the Text. You will develop a coherent understanding of God and His plan from Genesis to Revelation.
